a while back i submitted a doodle for a project called the Big Team Scribble, organised by super illustrator Lisa Currie. the idea was to customise a carriage for a big colouring book train. above is my carriage doodle which features in the finished book. its currently available to pre-order here, some of the cash raised from sales will go to UNICEF. good book, good cause, you can't go wrong!
tomorrow there are a couple of exciting things you could attend if you'll be in Leeds or London. i will be at the Brewery Wharf Pannier Market in Leeds from 10am-4pm selling my work and that of my Fine City Friends Gemma Correll and Anthony Zinonos. Anthony will be down in London at the Zine Symposium selling our zines. come and say hey if you're in the neighbourhood!
over on the super Pikaland blog the new issue of Good to Know zine is now available. it contains lots of tips and advice from artists and illustrators about where creative folks go for support and where to seek help. its well worth a read, its full of inspiring ideas and stories.
