envelopes

this morning i have mostly been making envelopes. these ones are partners to my mini woodland notecards

new stockist

i have a new stockist of memo products, the wonderful 'renegade handmade' in chicago, usa. they stock work by some of my favourite illustrators and crafters so its great for me to sell work there too. i sent them a parcel of things including cut out corgi, guinea pig brooches, typewriter notecards and cross stitched ice cream and anchor brooches.

i have an exciting project to tell you about today.. a zine collaboration that i have worked on with katie haegele a writer and zine-maker from philadelphia.

the zine is now in the final stages and we'll be constructing them and having them ready for sale in the next month or so. its a 2 in 1 zine about lost things and found things with short stories written by katie and drawings by me.

i'll post again when the zines are available but for now:

the culture vulture

earlier this week i put together a package of things to send to the culture vulture which is a really informative blog about creative and cultural happenings in and around leeds.

snazzy old notebook

i just came across an article about a photographer from the 60s called william gedney. the picture above shows one of his notebooks. so good! its a bit of a coincidence that the lettering is so similar to mine. je t'aime old stationary, especially old memo stationary!
